October 25th, 2010: KCM Relaunches New Website Design!

http://KnightCapitalManagement.com

Dear Trader,

As of Sunday, October 24th, 2010, Knight Capital Management has a new look and feel of our website design. Many thanks to my brother, Dane, for all his continued hard work.

We will be launching our products one at a time, until we get our material out in a concise easy to understand process.

Our first project is currently underway, but in the meantime, we have placed our popular "free" strategy called the e-Mini Bull Bear Trading Strategy on our website. This is our basic foundational trading strategy, and we will be adding to this strategy in the near future.

This will be our "pro" version of this strategy.

Under current developement in a new e-book entitled, "So You Want To Be A Trader?" That is on target to be released before this year is out.

Our crude oil product will finish it's 3rd month of beta testing in October. Still, we believe the best overall strategy in the crude oil market to help traders produce income, and build their trading accounts by adding leverage at predetermined account levels.

Thanks for all the excellent feedback, and comments. We wish you all the best in your trading.

By the way, yes, we still have a live trading room. We will be bringing this product back out on the website in the near future. If you want to know how to get into it before we place it back on the website, simply contact us by email or phone.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Hello Traders,

Welcome to the new temporary home of Knight Capital Management. While we are in transition, we appreciate your patience.

Today, unexpectedly I had to make the decision to let go of a couple of people. I am uncertain at present when this situation will be resolved, but it goes without saying that it is a decision that I didn't take lightly.

Sometimes, the negative that surrounds you has to be released, and the negative people that are around you. It is unfortunate that it had to come to this, but it had to be done.

When a person(s) do not understand your dream, desire, and vision, and you have tried over and over to get it through to them without any real success, then I suppose it is time to cut the cord.

So the good is that I am back working for myself, the bad is I do not have a website home right now to call home, and the ugly I got rid of today to replace it with a positive flowing environment that will produce positive results.

Positive energy begets positive thoughts, and positive emotions and allows for the creative energy to be released. I will continue to search for those positive people to surround myself with this time that support the dream and vision that I am trying to accomplish.

I will not make the mistake again of trying to change a person(s) point of view. It is pointless, and fruitless to do so. If you bang your head against a brick wall over and over again expecting a different result, that my friend, is the definition of insanity.

Although, today I don't have any solutions to offer you. I am happy today to have my life back without the turmoil that has surrounded me and my life recently. I am done being frustrated, and pissed off, as best as I can.

I am tired of waking up and being mad at the world. It is not the world's fault that I am in the position that I am in. I placed myself into this position now it is time to dig myself out.

Step by step, I am certain this can be accomplished with the grace of God by my side. I know everything good comes from our creator God. I also know that HE works in ways that we do not understand.

God said, that HE will never leave you, nor forsake you. It is us that leave HIM, and forsake HIM. The Lord is the supplier of all good things. It is to HIM that we should give the honor, glory, and praise.

I believe in what I am trying to accomplish, and I will find a solution to this setback through the grace of God in Heaven.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

God Bless You and Keep You,

Morning Walk at Twin Lakes Park in Greensburg, PA

http://KnightCapitalManagement.com

Hello Traders,

I was out walking this morning ... and this view is what presented itself at Twin Lakes Park as the sun was coming out from the east.

The first thought that came to my mind was how beautiful. This world that we are visitors in for a short period of time. The Lord in Heaven has made everything that I look upon. We have these kind of views that if we simply stop and take the time to appreciate ...

To be completely honest with you, I am at the proverbial crossroads of life. Which way should I proceed? My business as an entity is not where I would like it to be. Although, I have a lot of great trading ideas to share with others.

Just like this view ... you have to be there to see it right?

We get up each morning and go about our day ... many of us stay busy from sunrise to sunset without ever taking the time to simply say a prayer of thanks.

Dear God ... I thank you for your wonderful blessing that has been bestowed in my life. The good, the bad, and the ugly. You are creator of all that I see ... we can see the beauty that is present in this world or we can simply walk by it and never see it.

In the end, it's our choice ... that is what makes us Human Beings. Our free choice ... we that still live in the USA have a decision to make in November ... to take back our country from the Socialists.

We all have a decision to make ... to not make a decision is the same as making one. It has been said that you have 3 decisions in trading ... to go long, short, or no position. We do have a choice to make in November.

I believe the world will still be here offering these kind of views the day after the elections.

My business will be what it will be ... giving it all to God seems like the right thing to do. After all, there is only so LITTLE that I can control. I can not control the sunrise or sunset, but I can participate in them, and be an active participant in what the view that I choose to see.

I choose to see the good in people ... I choose to see the good in this world ... regardless of how many lemons come my way ... I will always choose to make lemonade with them.

TCB Crude Oil - Day before Friday's Employment Monthly Report

Hello Traders,

Here was a very interesting trade this morning after a close below the 200 Bar Moving Average off the 5 minute chart.

These are the kind of trades that do come along, if you are patient, disciplined, and self-controlled.

The TCB trading strategy continues to perform around 60% Win/Loss Rate, with a very healthy profit factor. By using our "time of day" to trade for the best opportunities.

Today there were no economic reports to be concerned with after the open of the stock market, and this trade came along on a day that the DOW was closing in on 11,000 on the Index on TV ... having a BIAS can be dangerous overall to your account.

Remember what I have said, that was told to me by Joe Ross ... "Trade what you see, not what you think!"

This trade came about because the charts (showed - see) it. By not be locked in LONG only today, you would have seen this opportunity develop like we demonstrated in our live trading room.

Good Trades,

David "Tiger" Knight

P.S. I still stand by the opinion that we will not close above 11,000 on the DOW Futures contract before we crash again in the month of October. Please note that this is my opinion ... and not worthy to trade simply on. After all, TRADE WHAT YOU SEE, not WHAT YOU THINK! Right! Got it ... Good! :)

Interesting Trade in Crude Oil after the FOMC Statement and Rates

This was a nice winning trade today for about 10 minutes of your day ... more or less ... knowing when to be in the market is one of the most important decisions that you as a trader can make.

Today, my personal belief and opinion, is that you could take the day off ... or wait to the best opportunity to trade ...

Today would have been after the FOMC Statement and Rates announcement.

By the way, this was over a $1K trade on a few contracts.

Nice Fast 10 Minutes Trading Day in Crude Oil

http://KnightCapitalManagement.com

This trade took exactly 10 minutes to complete.

Becoming proficient in one market ... allowing that market to help build your account and produce income. This is one of the keys to success. Crude oil offers this with the volatility experienced each day in this environment.
